This Easy Peach Salsa with Jalapeño recipe is a little sweet, a little spicy and totally delicious. Made with fresh peaches, jalapeno, onion, cilantro, lime and garlic, this simple salsa is a clean eating snack, a great condiment for chicken and fish and a party dip that will not disappoint.
Today is all about the fruity salsa, friends. And in my world is the best kind of salsa!
And this is my newest obsession – super easy peach salsa.
The sweetness of just-ripe peaches and the spiciness of a little jalapeño are a perfect match. And then you mix in a little bit of zesty lime, onion, garlic and a little cilantro for a perfectly well-rounded bit every single time.
It’s an all-in-one condiment/dip/chunky sauce that is so easy and makes everything (fish, chicken, pork, tacos, salad – I’m talking to you!) taste just a little bit better. I’ve made this recipe just about 10 times now and it just keeps getting better and better and more delicious with each and every bite!

HOW TO MAKE THIS EASY PEACH SALSA RECIPE…
I like using ripe-firm peaches the best …which pretty much just means you don’t want to use mushy peaches. And I like to peel the peaches first. The skins are my favourite part of the peach (weird, yes), so they get set aside for me, but also I just prefer this dip without the skins. No skins = a more consistent salsa. But that’s just me.
PRO SALSA TIP: I like this salsa with a very fine dice to the peaches. It is a little more time-consuming but worth it. Otherwise, roughly chop the peaches for more of a chunky salsa.
You can use any colour/kind of onion you’d like. Red and green onions (aka scallions or spring onions) are my favourites. I do like the purple onions the best because it makes for the prettiest salsa. And we all know pretty food tastes better, right?
Then comes the jalapeño. Take the seeds and ribs out and it adds the perfect kick of heat. It’s subtle but you know it’s there. If you don’t like the jalapeño or don’t have one on hand you can use any bell pepper for a mild and crunchier taste. And if you like a really spicy salsa, leave all those seeds in and go from there.
And salsa just isn’t salsa with cilantro and lime juice. ‘nough said, I think.
It’s really just that easy. Cut everything up. Put everything in the bowl. Mix everything together. Delicious peach salsa every time that can be served with fish or chicken, on top of a salad or in just about any taco.
MORE ABOUT THIS JALAPENO PEACH SALSA…
Peaches have always had a special place in my heart (and my taste buds)… mostly because I bruise like a peach so I really feel a deep connection with this stone fruit.
Is it weird to say I *get* them?
But also because peach season is one of my favourites. Yes, I know I say that about almost every fruit/vegetable harvest period but I really love them all.
And really, nothing beats a seriously sweet and juicy peach.
I’m getting all giddy and excited because peach season is in full swing here in and around Ontario’s Niagara region which means my fridge/fruit bowl/kitchen is overflowing with peaches (and I am NOT mad about it!). This pretty much means one thing – juicy, sweet peaches for days and days and days. And today I’m taking my peaches in the form of this Easy Peach Salsa with Jalapeno.
