Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups Frozen Blueberries
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
Instructions
- Add the blueberries and water to a pot over medium to medium-high heat and bring to a gentle bubble. Reduce heat slightly and continue to cook for about 8 to 10 minutes or until the blueberry juices start to thicken.
- Remove from the heat and gently mash any larger berries with the back of a spoon or a spatula. Stir in the cinnamon and chia seeds. Allow the jam to rest for about 5 minutes or until the chia seeds begin to swell and set. (If the consistency of the jam is too thick for your tastebuds, add a splash of water (a tablespoon at a time) until the desired consistency is reached. If it’s too thin and liquid-y, add a few more chia seeds.)
- Transfer to a jar or container to cool then refrigerate for up to a week.
